Walgreens & Fred Meyer!!

My dining room table has been playing hostess to my gigantic pile of coupons that need to find a home inside my coupon binder.  This is all that i’ve clipped since i’ve been home…just a slight addiction. LOL

So this morning, I decided to hit up Walgreens for the list I posted up yesterday & then at the last minute I added:

Dove Products - Buy 3 for $18, get a $6 Register Rewards.  I had: 1 - $0.75 off 6pk of Dove Bar Soap,  1 - $1.00 off bottle of Dove body wash, 1 - $4.00 off 6pk of Mens Bath & Face Soap.  Using my coupons would’ve been: Buy 3 for $12.25 with a $6.00 Register Rewards.

I got all of the items on my list posted yesterday & then when I went to do this Dove deal, I got screwed.  They were out of the Dove Mens Bath & Face Soap!!  When I asked the lady if they had more, she said they restocked on Thursday & a lady came in & bought ALL that they had.  RUDE!  Well instead of putting back my other 2 Dove items, I sucked it up & bought another Dove body wash at regular price & got my $6.00 Register Rewards.

So at checkout I paid about $36.00 out of pocket & then I got back $14.00 worth of Register Rewards, making it a total of $22.00 spent really.

I then went to Fred Meyer & on my list was:  

Ribeye Steaks, Pork, Dreyers No Sugar Ice Cream (for M), Potatoes, Squash & Baseball Card Inserts.

They were out of the baseball card inserts & so I opted for a bunch of bananas instead & then got the rest of my items.  

At checkout, my total was $21.10.  I used my $14.00 of Register Rewards & paid $7.10 out of pocket.

AND THEN….late last night I came across THIS IMITATION CRAB deal.  A printable $1.00 off 1 package of Crab Classic Imitation Crab coupon, that can be printed TWICE.  And then going to Safeway for their 2 for $3.00 deal, made it 2 for $1.00 (or $0.50each)  Works perfectly because I was in the mood for my sweet potato salad!! :)
